Hey there! I'm Courtney Scheidt, a 26-year-old gal living in Oxnard, CA.  I live with my Fiancé, our little black cat, and our new Pug puppy. I graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a degree in Mass Communication, specializing in Advertising and Public Relations, and a minor in Korean.

 I have had some cool experiences in various industries. One highlight was a senior project class partnering with Zen-X LA, a company run by marketing students in Los Angeles. My group focused on boosting a local blue jeans brand's social media presence, and we made some impressive gains on Instagram and TikTok!

After graduating, Mintea, the boba shop I worked at enlisted my help, which is where I honed my Photoshop skills while managing their social media and creating eye-catching content. I even got to design a new menu for them!

Now, I'm the Creative Marketing Director and E-Commerce Specialist at Jewelry Couture, a fine jewelry store in Ventura, CA. I revamped their website from scratch, snapped and edited new product photos, and dove deep into Adobe software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom. Capturing the beauty of diamonds required some research, but I love the challenge! I also recently acquired the position of Creative Marketing Director and I am tasked with shooting, editing, copywriting, and posting social media content. I also partner with a 3rd party to create digital ads that will be sent to Meta and Google. While taking on both roles has proven to be a challenge, I am having a blast getting to do something I love.
